| A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in the Milwaukie Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gladstone for Ruth Evelyn Flower, who died Oct. 18 at age 85. Mrs. Flower was born Ruth Evelyn Brooks on July 9, 1916, in Red Bluff, Calif. A homemaker, she moved to Eugene in 1949, and lived in Tucson, Ariz., for 15 years until 1990, when she moved to Gladstone. She owned Neo-Life food supplement franchises in Eugene, Newport and in Arizona. A member of the church, she was a past Relief Society president in several wards. In 1932, she married Arthur Flower. |
| Survivors include her husband; son, Arthur Jr.; daughters, Eileen Ohno, Patricia Hayes and Betty Campbell; 11 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. |
