| W. Carl Fields was born August 16, 1905 in Kansas City, MO. and died November 17, 2001 at Mount St. Vincent where he resided for four years. He is survived by his daughter Barbara (Bobbe) Jorgensen; granddaughter, Kristina Anderson; great granddaughter, Lesley Yager, all of Seattle and nephews Bill and Marshall McLeod of Tacoma. His career in the aircraft industry began with Boeing in the "Red Barn" and ended at Cape Kennedy where his contribution to the space program helped put man on the moon. A good man who lived a good life! Have a smooth flight, Dad! Private interment at Washington Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 28th at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Mount St. Vincent, 4831 - 35th Ave. S.W., Seattle, WA. The family suggests memorials to the Museum of Flight, 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, WA. 98108. |
