ENNIS, Dorothy Jayne
1916 - 2008
Dorothy Jayne Ennis passed away April 12, 2008, peacefully in Portland, at the age of 91. She was born Oct. 31, 1916, to William and Leta Sublette in Douglas, Ariz. Jayne grew up and resided in Fresno, Calif., where she led a full and interesting life. Dorothy was married to Dr. Joseph F. Bolkovatz until his passing in 1963. She was very active in various volunteer guilds. She later married T. Jefferson Ennis and moved to Japan, Turkey and Belgium before returning to California to enjoy an active retirement. She was very involved in fund raising for the Fresno Metropolitan Museum. Jayne is survived by her son, Joseph F. Bolkovatz of Portland; daughter, Caryl Hallberg of Bloomfield, Conn.; step daughters, Macy Christ of Pahoa, Hawaii, Erin Bunce of Carmel, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be missed.
