Six Mile, SC. Herschel F. Eppenstein, 87, of 418 Belle Shoals Road, died at his residence on Thursday, August 7, 2003. A native of Missouri he was the son of the late Manus and Ruby Eppenstein. He was a graduate of Missouri State University and was an electrical engineer with Boeing. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Air Force. He was of the Jewish faith and was a Mason. He was predeceased by his wife Josephine P. Eppenstein. Suvivors: son, William Eppenstein of Olympia, WA.; daughter, Leslie Eppenstein of Six Mile, SC.; grandchildren, Effie Eppenstein Stilnovich, David A. Ward and great-grandchild, Eva Graham Stilnovich. The family is at the residence. Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with arrangements.
