| 07/09/30 - 10/05/01 Ed passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 5, 2001, at his home of 42 years in Lakewood, WA. He was born July 9, 1930 in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Bricklayer#s Local #1 and the founder and president of his own business, Refractory Services, Inc. He was the inventor and patent-owner of the Brick-N-Rig machine. Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elayne M. Ewers; daughter, Renee E. Holth and son-in-law, Mike, of Spanaway; daughter, Eliece M. Heiser and son-in-law, Jim, and his beloved grandson, Miles Heiser, of Lakewood; andbrother, Gary Ewers, of Centralia.
