Charles J. 'Pops' Emery
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002, in Holman's Funeral Service for Charles Junior "Pops" Emery, who died July 19 at age 78.
Mr. Emery was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Maryville, Mo., and he moved to Portland in 1943. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and contractor.
Survivors include his sons, Dale Aplet, David Emery, Daniel Emery and Douglas Emery; daughter, Jennifer Minor; sisters, Joyce Gower and Barbara Tarnovsky; brother, Roland; and four grandchildren.
