Mildred L. Erker
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, in Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Maple Valley, Wash., for Mildred L. Erker, who died Oct. 1 at age 83. Mrs. Erker was born Mildred L. Barlett on Feb. 3, 1918, in Webb City, Mo. She moved to Oregon City in 1935 and later lived in Milwaukie. She was a restaurant owner in Oregon City for 10 years and later a nursing home caregiver for several years. She then was a lunchroom attendant at Precision Castparts until retiring in 1988. She moved to Maple Valley in 1994. In 1938, she married Joseph Erker; he died in 1992.
Survivors include her son, Clifford; daughter, Frances Smith; brother, Daniel Barlett; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
