Dr. Margaret R. "Peggy" DAVIS

47, Died unexpectedly in Collegeville on May 21,
2004. She was formerly of North Wales, PA and Seattle,
WA. Born in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of
Howard Davis of Port Charlotte, FL and the late Gladys
(Evans) Davis. She received her Bachelors degree from
the University of Pittsburgh and earned her Doctorate
in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of
Washington. Dr. Davis had a distinguished career in
mass spectrometry and held positions at SmithKline,
Merck & Co. and Wyeth Research, all in PA, as well as
at Cerep in Redmond, WA. In addition to her father,
she is survived by her life partner, Sandra Gonzales
of Collegeville and her sister, Virginia L. Davis of
Woodinville, WA. Relatives and friends are invited to
attend her Memorial Service, Wednesday, May 26, at 8
p.m. in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale,
where friends may call after 7 p.m. Should friends
desire, contributions in her memory may be made to St.
Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Ave.,
P.O. Box 159, Madison, NJ 07940.
