Audrey Lorraine Downie
Audrey Lorraine Downie, born July 16, 1921 in Beaver Falls, PA, died April 4, 2004 in University Place, WA. She was a retired teacher, but continued to substitute even in retirement. Audrey was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church and was active in several local and civic activities in University Place. Audrey is survived by son Robert Brown (Debbie), Las Vegas, NV; daughters Christie Bazar (Larry Nelthropp), University Place; Cecilie Bulcha (Bisrat), NJ; sister Doris James, Beaver Falls, PA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Funeral services will be held Today, Tuesday, April 6, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at the 1002 So. Yakima Ave. Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Gaffney Cassedy Allen & Buckley King Funeral Home.
