Oren 'Don' Davis
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2001, in St. Helens Elks Lodge for Oren "Don" Davis, who died March 9 at age 67. Mr. Davis was born July 26, 1933, in Kansas City, Mo., and was raised in Vancouver, Wash. He graduated from Vancouver High School and was a sheet-metal worker out of Local 16 for 47 years, retiring in 1993. After living in Gresham for 30 years, he moved in 1992 to Scappoose. In 1959, he married Doreen D. Matthies.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Lisa D. Polzel; son, Donald M.; sisters, Irene Jacobson and Crystal Bloom; and two grandchildren.
Interment in Columbia Memorial Gardens in Scappoose. Arrangements by Columbia Funeral Home.
