He served 28 years in the Army, 20 of which were overseas, before retiring. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. Survivors include: daughters, Betty Picard, Linda Busey of Salem, OR; sisters, Bessie Mae Harper, Ethal Wells, Kansas City, MO. Memorial service with full military honors will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR, March 10 at 1 p.m.
