Audrey Clark CARLSON

Our Mom, Our Grandma, Our Angel Painlessly traveled
from our arms to those of her late husband, Theo N.
Carlson, her mother, father and brother, all who
preceded her in death. She has left behind her son,
Donald Carlson, her daughter, Janet Carlson-Glaser,
her son-in law, James F. Glaser and her grandchildren,
Kalyn Glaser and Chelsey and Kyle Hays. Audrey was
born in Los Angeles and at age 6 her parents moved to
Magnolia where she spent the rest of her life. She
attended Lawton Elementary, Queen Anne High School and
graduated from the University of Washington with a
literature major. She modeled in Los Angeles during
the summers while at the University and played in the
University symphony. She later became a member of the
Washington Athletic Club and Briarcliff Garden Club.
She was on the board of directors for the Women's
University Club, a Boy Scout leader, Girl Scout
leader, president of the PTA, and an elder at Magnolia
Presbyterian Church. To know her is to love her; she
spent her life caring for the needs of others on
Magnolia when she wasn't caring for her family.
She was a giver of love, kindness and understanding.
She set an incredibly high standard of values for her
family and friends. Remembrances to Hospice of Seattle
and the Bastyr University. Services will be held at
Magnolia Presbyterian Church, date - TBD.
