| Arthur W. COOPER A loving husband, adoring father, grandfather & great grandfather. Art was born in Aid, Missouri to Arthur & Alice Cooper. He passed away on April 5, 2004, at the age of 88, in his SeaTac home. Art served in the U.S. Army as a First Sergeant, before and during World War II. After the war he was employed by Rainier Brewery until he retired. Art enjoyed working in his yard with his roses & raising Doberman dogs. He was a lifetime member of the VFW & the Republican Party. His wife Margaret preceded him in death in July of 2002. His surviving family includes his sons Ret. US Army Sgt. Maj. Kendall (Jeanie), Terrell (Colleen), their two grandchildren June (Michael), Erika & great grandson Gabriel. Also, two sisters (in Missouri & Texas), a brother in Texas & numerous in-laws. Services with Military Honors will be held at the Tahoma Nat'l. Cemetery in Kent, WA. Published in print on 4/25/2004. Seattle Times |
