| Thomas "Tom" Anthony Joseph CAVAGNARO Born October 24, 1924 in Oakland, California to George and Grace Cavagnaro, entered into eternal rest on April 21, 2004 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 79. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Glenna D. Cavagnaro, four children Glenna Milleman, Michael Heineman, John Cavagnaro and Mary Cavagnaro; his adored grandchildren Melissa Milleman, Christie Heineman, Janelle Heineman, Jonathan Heineman, his sister Pat Butler, dear friends Kathy and Pete Kalapaca, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Cavagnaro proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Tippacanoe. Following his service in the Navy, he worked for the city of Alameda for 35 years as a master tree trimmer. After residing in Hayward, California for 45 years he retired to Edmonds, Washington. He enjoyed his many friends at Harbor Square Athletic Club and volunteering at the Driftwood Theater and the Senior Center. His other pastimes included walking his dogs, singing, playing cards, swimming and especially, good conversations. Thomas had a zest for life, a young spirit, engaging personality, and an unforgettable sense of humor. Thomas is loved dearly and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Evergreen Hospice and Healthcare Foundation, 12910 Totem Lake Blvd, #200, Kirkland, WA 98034 in memory of Thomas Cavagnaro.
