Juanita E. Collier
A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, in Hustad Funeral Home for Juanita E. Collier, who died Feb. 16 at age 78.
Juanita E. Nelson was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Howes Mill, Mo. She lived in Dunsmuir, Calif., for 33 years before moving to Portland about 1996. She was a retired day-care provider. In 1943, she married Burnice Collier; he died in 1980.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Holland; sisters, Berneva Wilson and Daphene Moss; brothers, Bernell Nelson and Maurice Nelson; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her son, Carl Grove, died in 1953.
