| Mr. Champ was born July 26, 1949, in Glendale, Calif. He moved in 1967 to Portland, where he was a stock worker for Safeway, among other jobs, and a craft vendor with his wife at Saturday Market for 22 years. He also sold real estate and was a construction contractor. In 1987, he moved to Nehalem and was a maintenance worker for the Neah-Kah-Nie School District who also coached community sports. In 1980, he married Patricia "Peppe" Clancy. |
| Survivors include his wife; sons, Travis, Jordan, Talon, Garit and Tucker; daughters, Mackenzie, Hillarie, Brittnee and Stormie; and sisters, Lisa and Janet. |
