Rex Douglas Champ
Rex Douglas Champ died Jan. 12, 2005, at age 55.
Mr. Champ was born July 26, 1949, in Glendale, Calif. He moved in 1967
to Portland, where he was a stock worker for Safeway, among other jobs,
and a craft vendor with his wife at Saturday Market for 22 years. He
also sold real estate and was a construction contractor. In 1987, he
moved to Nehalem and was a maintenance worker for the Neah-Kah-Nie School
District who also coached community sports. In 1980, he married Patricia
"Peppe" Clancy.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Travis, Jordan, Talon, Garit and
Tucker; daughters, Mackenzie, Hillarie, Brittnee and Stormie; and sisters,
Lisa and Janet.
