Millard F. Christner Sr.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2002, in SGI USA in Portland for Millard F. Christner Sr., who died July 7 at age 82.
Mr. Christner was born July 24, 1919, in Garrett, Pa. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific and then in the Air Force until 1962, when he moved to Portland. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. In 1967, he married Frances Rosenblad; she died in 1985.
Survivors include his sons, Millard Jr., Warren and John; daughters, Mary McElvain and Marilyn Hoffman; and six grandchildren.
