Rita Louise Chappell
Rita Louise Chappell, age 52 years, of Everett, WA died March 23, 2003
at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.
She was born December 8, 1950 in Ava, MO. Her parents were Lee and
Moelia Luellen Wilson. She attended schools in Dayton and Walla Walla
and graduated from WAHI with the class of 1969 and then served three
years in the Army during the Vietnam War. She also graduated from
Walla Walla Community College in Cosmotology and Nursing. She
moved to Everett, WA about five years ago and was employed at a
Nursing Home.
She was divorced from marriages to Mick Gibson and George Chappell.
She enjoyed painting in oil and photography.
She is survived by a daughter, Brook Simmons of Anchorage, AK; son,
George Chappell, Jr. of Everett, WA; her mother of Walla Walla; four
sisters, Becky Gallaher of Olympia, WA, Reba Wilson of Clarkston, WA,
Rose Wilson of Moses Lake, WA, and Ramona Holten of Newport, Or;
and 3 brothers, Dan Wilson of Milton-Freewater, OR, Donald Wilson of
Walla Walla and Dean Wilson of Everett, WA; two grandchildren; and an
aunt, Carol Pullium of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at
the Starbuck City Cemetery with Pastor Dave McIlroy officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 noon on Saturday at the Hubbard-
Rogg Chapel.
