Billie Cox
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Penttila's Chapel by the Sea in Long Beach, Wash., for Billie Cox, who died Nov. 23 at age 66.
Mrs. Cox was born Billie Wallace on Oct. 8, 1935, in Philadelphia. She received a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. A registered public health nurse, she worked in Louisiana and California before moving in about 1977 to Portland, where she worked at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital. She had lived in Long Beach since 1984. In 1967, she married Delbert Cox.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Linda Jo Miller and Connie DuFour; son, Darvin M. Weikel; seven grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
Interment in Lone Fir Cemetery in Long Beach.
