| ALICE R. CLARK Alice Ruby Clark, 88, a Tacoma resident since 1940, died October 30, 1999. Alice was born in Houston, Missouri on Nov. 28, 1910. Her maiden name was Peters, daughter of a farmer. She grew up in Kansas and Colorado, and married Herbert Isaac Clark in Denver on June 12, 1934. They moved with their two children to Tacoma in 1940. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but worked for Wiesfields in downtown Tacoma through the 1950's in the accounting department. Alice had lived in their Northend residence until October of 1996 at which time she moved into the home of her daughter, Janice Yelovich, until her passing. Family members include her daughter, Janice Yelovich of Tacoma; son, Gary Clark of Lincoln City, OR; sister, Betty Simpson of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert in March of 1988. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
