Karen Annette CARLSON 02/11/1969 - 03/03/2002 A native of California, Karen grew up in the Seattle area. She attended Juanita High School in Kirkland, and Central Washington University in Ellensburg graduating in 1991 with a degree in Law and Justice. She met her husband, Erik, in December 1990 while on Christmas break. After enduring a long-distance relationship they were married in October 1992 in Minot, ND. Since then they have lived in minot, ND., Spokane, WA., Panama City, FL. and in Tacoma, WA. Karen was the proud mother of two daughters, Madeline, age 6 and Heidi, age 3. She will remain forever in the hearts of her husband, two daughters, mother, father, sister, brother-in-law, three sisters-in- law, mothers and fathers in-law and numerous other relatives and friends. All who were inspired and encouraged by her 3-year battle with cancer. Everyone will remember her for her sense of humor, her laughter, her courage, and especially her faith.
