Mansford W. Chinn
Mansford W. Chinn died Oct. 31, 2001, at age 88.
Mr. Chinn was born May 25, 1913, in Walnut Grove, Mo. In 1944, he moved to Los Angeles, where he was a Linotype operator for 50 years, retiring in 1983. He moved in 1985 to Gresham. He was also a professional piano tuner. In 1933, he married Bernice Ireland.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Virginia Dodson, Linda Slesh and Bettie Schreiber; stepmother, Gwenn; sisters, Mildred Hall and Maxine Payton; brothers, Claude and Earl; five grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
No service. Interment in Cliffside Cemetery in Sandy. Arrangements by Gresham Funeral Chapel.
