Mildred L. Craig Mildred Craig, 77, passed away at her home near Summit View on Au, 1998 after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born in Edgewood in 1921 to James and Myrtle Peacocke, and graduated from Fife High School in 1939. Millie was particularly known for her wonderful sense of humor, creativity, and warmness with people. She was a devoted mother and adored by all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques. One of the highlights of her life was working with children as a teacher's assistant at James Sales Elementary School in the Franklin Pierce School District. Millie is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Kenneth; daughter Julie of Camarillo, CA; sons Steve of Yelm and Scott of Puyallup; and four grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
