| Oliver James Cuddy Oliver James Cuddy, of Gig Harbor, passed away January 29, 1998. He was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. Born in St. Louis, MO, April 15, 1921. Ollie served proudly as an officer in the US Army during W.W.II (Asian Theater), and the Korean conflict. After retiring from a more than 25 year management career with the Quaker Oats Company, Ollie started a second career in retail ownership in Ruidoso, NM. In 1991 he and his wife, Betty, moved to Gig Harbor. Ollie is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Betty, Gig Harbor; daughters Ann Garner (Ray), Gig Harbor, Pam Baldwin (Michael), Albuquerque, NM, and Peg Dempsey, Lakewood; grandsons E.L. von Trotha III (Nikki), Everett, Lt. Eric von Trotha, Offutt AFB, NE, James Baldwin, Albuquerque; great grandson E.L. Von Trotha IV; brother- in-law Jerry Clevenger (Jane), Mesa, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jocelyn V. Devita for all of her care and concern throughout Ollie's illness. Private family services will be held in Rocky Ford, Colardo. The family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice.
