1912 - 1999 Betty Irene Cartwright, born Sept. 1, 1912 in Los Angeles, CA, passed away on Jan. 30, 1999 in Tacoma. Betty was a member of Eastern Star Cedar Chapter in Tacoma, and a former active member in PTA. She is survived by sons Bill (Margie) Cartwright, Bainbridge Island, and Tom (Judy) Cartwright, Longview, WA; daughters Joan (Ed) Blank, Gig Harbor, and Kay (Floyd) Adley, Deer Park, OH; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Glen Cartwright, in 1991. At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice, 1717 So.
