Arlie Edward Caywood
A memorial gathering for Arlie Edward Caywood will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Westside Church of Christ, West Orchard Extension, in
Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.
Mr. Caywood, 76, a resident of the Hermiston-Umatilla area since
1961, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
He was born March 29, 1924, at Neosho, Mo., to Arlie and Etta
Patterson Caywood.
On Oct. 11, 1942, he, and his wife, Evelyn Louise, were married at
Neosho. They came to the Hermiston area in 1961.
Mr. Caywood had been employed by Union Pacific Railroad for 17 years.
He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ.
Mr. Caywood loved helping others and was a real handyman.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Louise Caywood of Hermiston; sons,
Timothy and Michael, both of the Seattle area; brothers, Jim of
Kennewick, Wash., and David of Neosho, Mo.; four grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Burns Mortuary of Hermsiton is in charge of arrangements.
