Lorene M. Carpenter

Lorene M. Carpenter, 74, of Tacoma, passed away March 13, 1996. Born in 1921
in Clear Creek, MO, Lorene was a homemaker, active member of St. Ann's
Catholic Church and a volunteer at McChord AFB Family Services Center.
Lorene is survived by her husband, retired SMS John M. Carpenter; children,
John M. Carpenter and his wife, Judy, Margaret J. Plumb and her husband,
Donn, Mary A. McFayden, Constance R. Guffey and her husband, Mike, James
W. Carpenter and his wife, Deborah, David F. Carpenter and his wife, Terry;
surviving brothers, Norbert, Charles and Kenneth, Kansas City; 13 grandchildren
and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation Sat., 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sun., 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
in the Mt. View Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at a Mass Mon., March
18, 1996, 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, preceded by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m.
also at the church. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park. Reception to
follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Her love for life, family and friends will be
missed by all. Her extraordinary spirit will live on forever.
