| Frederick M. "Fred" BARNES Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend went to be with his Lord on February 6, 2006. Fred was born on April 6, 1929 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, the third son of Charles and Mary. Fred began his career at Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania working his way from Laborer to Engineer. It was in Pennsylvania that he met the love of his life, Anna. Fred and Anna married and moved to the Pacific Northwest raising two wonderful children. Fred went to work as a Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell Marine Systems where he retired after providing over 30 years of service. Although Fred was a self made man with many accomplishments, his greatest joy and achievement was his family. Fred was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman who lived his life as a grand adventure. His kindness, honesty, great stories and gentle humor touched all who knew him. Fred will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Anna, daughter, Maryanne and son in law, Tom, son, Brett and daughter in law, Andrea, grandchildren: Kyler, Kaelyn and Thomas, sister, Lela Bart, many family members and special friends. Services will be held to celebrate Fred's Life and Faith on Saturday February 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Shoreline United Methodist Church, 14511 25th Avenue NE Seattle WA, 98155.
