Edwin Chase Baker
Edwin chase Baker was born April 30, 1956, in Orange County, California. He passed
away peacefully on May 20, 2005, in his Lake Stevens home, surrounded by family. Ed
battled with Glioblastoma (brain tumor) for six months.
Edwin was born in California he was raised and live here in Washington his whole life.
He graduated from Lindbergh High School, in Renton, Washington, class of 1974.
After high school he joined the Marines, from years 1974 to 1979. The highest rate for
military was E-5 Sergeant. After the Marines, he started working for Boeing. Edwin
worked for Boeing as a mechanic and manager for 25 years as of January 2005. Ed
enjoyed boating, fishing, skiing, water skiing, camping, country music, dancing, and red
wine.
He left behind his wife, Olga; mother, Joanne; children, Marisa, Steven, Heather;
stepdaughter Lena. Also, loving aunt Dolores and uncle Steve and many other family
members.
Thank you to his co-workers at Boeing for your help and support.
We also wanted to express our gratitude to Hospice nurses and staff for their kindness
and assistance in our time of need.
According to his wishes his body will be cremated and a private ceremony will be held
with family, then ashes will be scattered at Baker Lake # where he spend many
enjoyable times camping and fishing.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends#
