Donald Raymond John Babb 

Donald Raymond John Babb died April 24, 2005, at age 87. Mr. Babb was born April 
15, 1918, in Butte, Mont. He moved to Portland in 1928 and graduated from Benson 
Polytechnical High School. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a 
warehouseman for 30 years, primarily with Hazeltine Hardware, and retired with 
Woodbury & Sons Hardware. Survivors include his son, Ray; daughters, Juanita 
Chereck and Cathie Bourne; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Chapel of the Chimes.
