Lou D. BIANCHI Passed away at home on April 19, 2005 after a brief illness. Lou was born December 23, 1918 in Boston, MA. He attended Boston Latin School and Harvard University. After finishing his education he turned to entertainment. Lou entertained up and down the West Coast but primarily was based out of the former Tradewinds Palm Room in Belltown where he played piano and sang for over 25 years. Lou came to Seattle in 1960 . He wrote the famous World's Fair song "The Summer of 62". Lou is survived by his wife Carol, children Susan Price, Karen Finch, Linda Carpine, John Carpine, Joanie Klein & Collee Smith. Grandchildren, John Webley, Ian England, Amanda Monaco, Laurie Sutherland, Jeff Sutherland, Cheryl Ernest & Kristy McKay. Services to be held Saturday April 23, 2005 at 11:30 in the morning at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Magnolia. 3218 West Barrett St. Seattle, WA 98199.
