Charles Harvey Buckland

A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, in Willamette National Cemetery for Charles Harvey "Buck" Buckland, who died Jan. 1 at age 83.
Mr. Buckland was born April 18, 1921, in Snydertown, Pa. During World War II, he served in the Army in Europe. He moved in 1946 to Portland, and was an electrician out of Local 48 at Foster Klieser and Bingham Willamette. In 1943, he married Doris M. Boyer; she died in 1983.
Survivors include his sons, James, Richard, Eugene and Thomas; brother, Merlin; companion, Margie Jackson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
