Ida Mae (Lawrence) Pomeroy Babbitt

Ida was born March 16, 1914 in the Summit area. Ida passed on Feb. 28, 
2005, in Tacoma, WA. Her passion was her family and playing the piano. 
Ida started playing the piano at the age of 5 with a piano that her 
family brought home on a covered wagon to their home in Summit for her 
birthday. She played piano for Grace Methodist Church and other churches. 
since she was 18 years old. She was a current member of Royal Neighbors 
of America and Rebbecas. She is preceded in death by her husbands Harry 
Pomeroy and Wayne C. Babbitt. She is survived by her children: James 
(Sharleen) Pomeroy, Linda and (Larry, Sr.) Young; Jerry (Michelle) 
Babbitt; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, 
nephews, and friends. Graveside service: Sat., March 5, 11:30 A.M. at 
Mountain View. Arrangements by Mountain View funeral Home. 584-0252.
