Esther R. Blackwell died Aug. 31, 2003, at age 47.
Ms. Blackwell was born Feb. 4, 1956, in Richmond, Calif. A homemaker, she lived in Alaska before moving in June to Portland.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Blackwell and Michael Land; daughters, Sharlyn Dail and Dawn M. Land; brothers, Don Blackwell, Franklin Pugh and Marvin Pugh; and seven grandchildren.
