Elsie Ione Bissell
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Westside Church of Christ in Beaverton for Elsie Ione Bissell, who died Feb. 20 at age 85.
Elsie Ione Nelson was born June 12, 1917, in Orland, Calif. A homemaker, she moved to Portland in 1975. In 1940, she married Robert H.; he died in 1986.
Survivors include her sons, Vernon and Wayne; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
