Ruby BRADSHAW

Will be remembered for her overwhelmingly positive outlook. She was a devoted
believer of, and supporter to her family and friends, and always saw the best in
people and the bright side of every situation. Ruby died at Mission Health Care on
Tuesday, January 28th, 2003. She was born on November 25th, 1910 in San
Bernardino, CA. She moved to Seattle in 1935 and spent the last 47 years living in
Bellevue. Her husband of 53 years, Phil Bradshaw, a Pilot for Northwest Airlines,
preceded her in death. Ruby was a member of Overlake Service League and an
avid lover of her bridge club and organ guild. One of her fondest memories was of
her antique store of 25 years, Treasure Trove, on Old Main Street in Bellevue. She
will be missed by many, but her optimism carries on. Ruby is survived by her three
children, Susan (Steve), Rich, and Kathy (Lou), her nine grandchildren, and four
great-grandchildren, all who were her "angels from heaven." As Mom/Grandma
would say, "I'm going to my great reward and will be happy as a June bug." A
celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 31st at Susan and Steve's home
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The family suggests that memorials be made to Overlake
Hospital. Green's Bellevue Funeral Home
