Manda TALLER BAUERS

Born September 13, 1908 in Dinuba, California. Died June 8, 2002 in
Olympia, Washington. Beloved mother of Robert (Jeanne) Taller, and
Joseph (Robin) Taller; sister of Pete Antich; sister-in-law of Dolly
Antich; grandmother of Robert Jr., Brian, Gary, and Joseph Taller, and
Liz Sapp and Barbara Nickum; great-grandmother of Matt, DJ, James,
Stacy, and George. Preceded in death by her husbands, Joe C. Taller,
and John Bauers. She was a charter member of the Seattle Elks
Emblem Club, and belonged to the Lucia Guild at Our lady of Fatima
Catholic Church. She was also a very active member of the Magnolia
Bluffers Senior Club. For over 40 years Manda was involved in the
restaurant business with her husband Joe A. Taller, owners of Taller's
Café and Taller's Charcoal Broiler. Manda dearly loved her family, and
Thoroughly enjoyed cooking, helping others, and was a gardener with a
green thumb. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2002 at Lady
of Fatima Catholic Church, 3218 W. Barrett St., Seattle 98199. Burial,
Holyrood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances suggested to
Fatima School Scholarship Fund, c/o Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
