Robert J. BAILEY

Robert J. Bailey was born 5/18/41 in Yuba City, California and died
5/31/02 as a resident of Mercer Island, Washington. He is survived by
his beloved wife and best friend Randee; chil dren Bradley, Steven,
Belinda and Bill; moth er-in-law Ruth. He also leaves his brother-in-
law and sister-in-law Steven and Connie Uber ti with their children
Andrew, Annie, Katie and David. He was preceded in death by his
mother Myrtle Bailey (Woodward) and his fa ther-in-law Albert Uberti.
As a longtime Seat tle resident Bob worked at PACCAR from 1979
until the time of his death. Bob was an accom plished lifetime golfer with
a love for the game. He served his country bravely as an Air Force Pilot
in Vietnam and was a flight enthu siast for over 50 years. Bob's current
passion was writing; he was the proud author of two recently published
books inspired by his en thusiasm for aviation and experience in Viet
nam. Bob loved his wife and family above all else. He will be forever
missed by his family and innumerable valued friends. A private family
service will be held. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in
Bob's name to either: Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 1023 15th
Street N.W., Second Floor, Washington, D.C. 20005; or Richard
Hugo House (a community center dedicated to the nurturing and
development of practicing wri ters), 1634 11th Avenue, Seattle, WA.
