Marjorie Emerson Babb 

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2002, in Tabor 
Heights United Methodist Church in Portland for Marjorie Emerson Babb, 
who died June 26 at age 87. 

Marjorie Bonds was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Holdenville, Okla., and was 
raised in Tillamook. She attended North Pacific Dental College after 
moving in the mid-1930s to Portland. She was a dental nurse for about 30 
years, and later was a lead claims analyst for Oregon Dental Service. In 
1940, she married Bruce R. 

Survivors include her husband; sons, Rodney K. and Douglas E.; four 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
