Pastor Samuel Beachem, Jr.  

Rev. Beachem was born in Dothen, Alabama and passed Saturday, 
June 17, 2000. He and his wife came to Tacoma in 1977 to pastor the 
Church of God by Faith. Survivors, besides his wife Dorothy Beachem 
of the home, include daughter Bevelyn Wilkins of Tacoma; sons Willie 
W. Beachem, Aurora, CO; Samuel Beachem III, Dothen; Richard 
Beachem of Kernerville, NC; and Reuben Beachem of Tacoma; 7 
grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brother Joseph Beachem of Buffalo, 
NY; and a host of other relatives. His first service is set for 3 p.m. 
Wednesday at the Sheridan St.Church of God, S. 23rd & Sheridan. 
His second service is set for 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2000 at the 
Church of God by Faith, Ozark, AL. Friends may pay respects today, 
5-8 p.m. at 1215 ML King Way. We entrusted his final care to
