Leora Jane Beroth "Granny" Leora Jane Beroth went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 1998 at the age of 90. She passed away peacefully with her children and many grandchildren at her bedside. She was born Leora Jane Stevens, one of thirteen children on February 14, 1908 in Stone Co. Missouri. She moved to Tacoma in 1957 where she has resided since. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moin T. Beroth. Surviving are her six children. One daughter and five sons: Lorane Kingry, Ernest (Carol), Floyd (Fern), Lloyd, Larry (Jaime), Jerry (Shelley). She leaves 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her strong belief in the Lord and the love for her family sustained her throughout her life. She was a very special lady, deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Viewing will be Tuesday, October 13, 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, October 14 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
