| A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Vancouver, Wash., for Robert "Bob" Boaz, who died Nov. 2 at age 76. Mr. Boaz was born March 12, 1925, in Los Angeles. During World War II, he served as a medic in the U.S. Army, including in the Battle of the Bulge. He graduated from Claremont Men's College in Claremont, Calif. He was a salesman for RB & W Bolt & Nuts for about 35 years, transferring to Lake Oswego from California in 1953 and retiring in about 1985 in Vancouver. In 1949, he married Donna Nord; she died in April. |
