Eddie Brake Eddie Brake 67, born on July 24, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, passed into the arms of our Lord, September 26, 1998. He leaves behind his loving wife, Marilyn, of 43 years; children Michael, Randy, and stepdaughter Susan Willanger, daughter-in-law RitaJo, all of Washington; and his brother, Jon of California. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Sarah, Stein, Erik, Ashley, Ryan and Laura. He enlisted into the Army and served 24 years and retired in 1973 as a SFC at Ft. Lewis, Washington. He received the Silver Star, Army Commendation, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantry Badge. At the time of his death, Eddie was retired from the Washington State Corrections for Women. He served 20 years as a Correctional Officer and Counselor. Eddie was a treasured husband, father and grandfather, who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. He enjoyed and cherished being with his family and friends most of all. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 1998, 2:00 PM at the Valley Chapel of Mt. View Memorial Park.
