Ralph R. Batey
Ralph R. Batey, born March 8, 1932 in Watson, MO., died after a long illness on Feb. 6, 1998. Son of William Riley Batey and Anna Belle Moles. He worked as a printer at The News Tribune and lived in the Tacoma area for over 23 years. Survived by his wife, Marianna; 3 sons, Brett (Gail) Long, Brad (Pam) Long, Bryan (Leann) Long; brothers, William R. (Dora) Batey, Ross (Marilyn) Batey. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at New Tacoma Cemetery. Family suggests memorials may be made to Hospice of Tacoma.
