Dora Paulon BLANCHARD
94, passed away on July 27, 2000. Born in Blair County, PA. on March 10, 1906. The family moved to Renton when she was four years old. She attended Central School of Renton and then went on to Business College in Seattle. Dora be gan her long business career with Northwest Envelope and then the Renton law firm of Dob son, Houser & Dobson and then Paccar. From 1955 until her retirement in 1971 she was em ployed by the Renton Police Department. Dora was an avid reader, being a strong proponent of self education. She also enjoyed travel and re turned to Italy to visit family. She leaves a son, Leslie Blanchard of Seattle; nieces, Joanne Paulon Souter of Sumner and Nancy Bennett of Allyn; and nephew, David Paulon of Hong Kong; as well as grand and great grand nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. Their will be a Graveside Service at Mt. Olivet Ceme tery, 100 Blaine Ave. N.E., Renton Tuesday, Au gust 15, at 11 a.m. followed by a gathering at The Blanchard Home. Memorials may be made to the Renton Historical Society or Children's Hos pital Foundation.
