| A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001, in Lincoln Street Baptist Church in Portland for Russell Bolick, who died May 10 at age 74. Mr. Bolick was born Oct. 14, 1926, in St. Louis, Mo. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific and the Atlantic. He moved to Portland from Seattle in 1967, and was a painter and then assistant chief engineer of the Portland Hilton Hotel for 25 years, retiring in 1996. In 1953, he married Darlene Schellhase. |
| Survivors include his wife; daughters, Nancy B. Schnabel and Susan Bolick; brother, the Rev. William H.; and two grandchildren. |
