| A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2001, in Willamette National Cemetery for Vincent J. Bowen, who died May 13 at age 81. Mr. Bowen was born June 28, 1919, in Erie, Pa. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart after his release as a prisoner of war in Germany. He moved to the Gresham area in the late 1960s and was a pattern maker for Northwest Foundry until retiring in 1984. In 1979, he married Alice Baker. |
| Survivors include his wife; stepdaughters, Linda Pratt, Sharon Stein and Anita Baker; sisters, Jean Tolle and Phyllis Dedion; and one grandchild. |
