Sheila M. Black
A funeral will be at noon Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home for Sheila M. Black, who died Sept. 8 at age 71 Sheila M. Black was born Dec. 6, 1935, in Bucklin, Mo. She moved to Portland in the mid 1950s and in 1975, to Concord, Calif., where she was a phlebotomist. She returned to Portland in 1997, and was a caregiver for her former husband for the past 10 years. She married Stephen Brown in the mid 1950s; they divorced.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia S. Zehner; sons, Greg S. Brown and James W. Brown; sisters, Shirley Black and Kate Albrecht; brother, Kenny White; former husband; and five grandchildren.
