Elaine Starr Bluemn A funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, in St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Portland for Elaine Starr Bluemn, who died Jan. 6 at age 79. Elaine Anderson was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Los Angeles and moved to Portland as an infant. She graduated from Franklin High School. She worked in accounting for General Electric Mortgage, retiring afterabout 20 years. She was a member of the church. In 1956, she married Mervin Starr; they divorced. She married Wayne Bluemn in about 1989; he died in 2003. Survivors include her daughters, Gelene Brown, Pamela Baines, Rosemary DaCosta and Miriam Woodard; son, Lewis Starr; brothers, Robert Anderson, Glenn Anderson and Mitchell Anderson; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
