December 9, 1911 ~ May 5, 2007 Passed away at the age of 95 on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her home in Bellevue, Washington. She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri and came to Seattle in 1940 and later to Bellevue in 1967. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic for 40 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Leon. She will be remembered for her love of family, her great wit and high energy. She was so loved and will be very much missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce (Alan) Odegard, of Medina, Jeanne (Robert) Bolton of Redmond; 2 sons, Rod Barnes and Rob Barnes, both of Bellevue, 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a sister, Laurine McNeely of St. Joseph, Missouri. A private funeral mass was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellevue with private interment at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Washington.
